A blank canvas can feel both exciting and overwhelming. It’s full of possibilities, but where do you start?

Without structure, tasks can quickly pile up, leading to confusion and delays. That's why having a clear system matters. To give you some inspiration, here's a quick look at how we structure tasks at Celaro and what our workflow looks like.

01 Title & Description

Start with a clear, concise title. This is what you’ll see in the board view.

Below that, this is where the details come on. Keep it clear and to the point. Anyone reading should instantly understand the task at a glance.

02 Sub-tasks

Next, we break the task down into sub-tasks that need to be completed before marking it as done.

Breaking tasks down prevents bottlenecks and keeps progress visible, ensuring no small steps get overlooked. For better organization, group similar sub-tasks together. For example:

Draft tasks
Design tasks
Distribution tasks

This keeps everything structured and easy to track.

03 Sidebar

Once your task is set up, you’ll find additional fields in the sidebar to refine it further. These details are visible directly from the board view:

Identifiers → Auto-generate a task ID for easier reference, especially useful when linking to pull requests.

Priority & Labels → Quickly see which tasks need attention and categorize them accordingly.

Responsibility → Remove quesswork by assigning who's working on the task and who's reviewing it. Perfect for team collaboration.

04 Comment Section

Every task comes with a dedicated comment section, making it easy to discuss progress, ask questions, and share updates.

Need input from a teammate? Tag teammates with @mention to notify them directly 🔔 so nothing gets lost in the noise.
